On June 13, 2023, the School of International Education held a studying abroad information session for Cape Breton University (CBU) in Canada at Joint-class Classroom 19 in Yuntao Building A, east campus of Xuchang University, to deepen students’ understanding of CBU and further enhance their enthusiasm for studying abroad at partner institutions. The event was hosted by Yana Chen, a representative from CBU, and attended by all students from the Sino-Canada Human Resource Management program and relevant faculty members.

During the session, Yana Chen introduced CBU’s strengths, academic programs, and graduate employment prospects with a focus on the admission requirements for students from Xuchang University, CBU’s co-partner for the Human Resource Management program. She also provided detailed explanations about the academic arrangements and daily life of oversea students in CBU. The atmosphere peaked with a video message from CBU’s President offering encouragement to students and current CBU international students sharing their experiences and feelings.

Following the presentation, Yana Chen engaged in an interactive Q&A session with students to address their’ inquiries in depth.

为加深学生对加拿大卡普顿大学的了解并进一步提高我院学生到合作院校留学深造的积极性，6月13日，我院在东校区蕴韬楼A合十九举行了学生赴加拿大卡普顿大学留学推介会。会议特邀卡普顿Yana Chen老师主讲，我院人力资源管理专业全体学生及相关教师参加。

会上，Yana Chen老师从卡普顿大学优势条件、专业设置、学生就业等方面为大家介绍了卡普顿大学基本情况，特别围绕我校与卡普顿大学合作开办的人力资源专业学生赴加拿大卡普顿大学的留学条件进行重点讲解，并详细地介绍了学生留学期间的学习和生活等细节。期间卡普顿大学校长对所有学生的寄语和留学生分享的在卡普顿大学留学的收获和感想等视频，将推介会的气氛推向高潮。

会后，Yana Chen老师与学生进行了互动，针对学生感兴趣的问题进行了认真细致地解答。
